Key duties and responsibilities:

1. Harvesting financial information through a daily download of company press releases, stock exchange announcements and news stories regarding mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
2. Interpreting financial data and other financial information in relation to corporate transactions.
3. Quality checking historical deal records to ensure the Zephyr database reflects and provides a consistent high standard of data and analysis.
4. Analysing specific transactions to determine whether or not they meet the inclusion criteria for the Zephyr database
5. Cleaning and updating the Zephyr database to ensure that deal records and company records are up to date, accurate and comprehensive
6. Tracking and updating deal records until completion
7. Completing bespoke projects related to the continued maintenance of a high quality database.

Applicants do not need any direct experience of corporate finance or business research, as a 6 month on-the-job training plan will be delivered including a 5 week in-house core training course, however any relevant experience is an advantage.

Job Summary

The Accounting Associate, Accounts Receivable, Order to Cash within the SPX ESSC will be responsible the timely posting of bank account transactions received into SAP. This will include the daily allocation of customer receipts to outstanding invoices, the associated G/L account clearing, reconciliation of any un-posted balances and daily reporting activity around this process. This role is also responsible for ensuring all Cash Pooling transactions are made to timetable to ensure Business Unit working capital requirements can be met. Responsibilities

�Ensure all transactional posting in relation to bank receipts are made accurately to customer accounts in line with agreed Service Level commitments.
�Transact FX and cash pooling activity in line with Treasury policy and working capital requirements.
�Contribute to the month end bank reconciliation process.
�First point of contact for all process enquiries via telephone and email.
�Post and reconcile all receipts in relation to monthly inter-company netting settlements.
�Ensure all daily bank uploads into SAP are transacted and reconciled for accuracy.
�Support the Team Manager to cover off other team activity as required.

Skills & Experience

�Fluency in Italian is essential.
