Our client, a public sector organisation based in Abercynon, Rhondda Cynon Taff is currently looking for a Translator for English to Welsh and Welsh to English translations. The position will be on a temporary, ongoing basis for at least 6 weeks.

The successful candidate will have an honours degree in Welsh or English or equivalent and would ideally have experience in translation.

Responsibilities will include:

Proof reading documents and editing translations, including the proof-reading of English documents as and when necessary.
Liaising with all services within the council, including senior officers and with external services as and when required to ensure the delivery of an effective service.
Authorising Welsh content for the council's Corporate website, mirroring press office responsibilities in case of English content.
Working with the Legal and Democratic Services to facilitate Welsh declarations to fulfil its statutory responsibilities.
Undertake any other reasonable duties at the request of the head of unit or deputy.

Tools Programmer - C++

Level 99 are currently engaged on opportunities for Tools (C++) programmers to join our West Country client to develop software tools for console games development.

What sort of qualifications and experience are we looking for?:
Computer Science related degree or similar.
Strong C++ and STL development skills with at least 2 years C++ experience in a commercial environment.
Demonstrable OO (Object Orientated) design skills.
MFC 9.0 (VS C++ 2008).
Visual C++ frameworks.
Any C# experience is welcome.
