JOB PURPOSE

The Role

This position is based in Hong Kong or Singapore and will require your relocation. We are assisting our Asia offices in sourcing for this role and ar interested in hearing from qualified candidates either currently residing, or attending school, in London. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong passion for finance and sales who have demonstrated problem solving and communication skills to join our training program. Your career will begin in our Analytics department, in Hong Kong or Singapore, where you will receive comprehensive training on our products and services, our clients, as well as insight into the global financial markets. We are looking for candidates who have an excellent understanding of the spoken and written word in Mandarin. Your specialist cultural, historical, political, ideological and economic knowledge and interest in the country�s current affairs will help our Intelligence Officers and agent running teams to progress investigations.

Part of our work involves listening to telephone calls and translating written documents intercepted under warrant. That�s where you can play your part � using your language skills and judgement to contribute to the assessment of intelligence to help investigate threats to national security, including terrorism and espionage.

You�ll produce written reports of your findings and discuss them with our investigative teams so as well as a being able to understand spoken and written Mandarin to a high standard and analyse information from a range of sources, you will also need excellent communication and team working skills.

RR Donnelley is a global translation and publishing agency. Founded more than 146 years ago, the company works collaboratively with more than 60,000 customers worldwide.

One of our clients sends design requests regularly to recreate their Medical Brochures, Spech Sheets and Marketing campaign flyers either by using already existing files/ templates that we have to update with new images/ contents, or by creating new files completely from scratch.
The files we normally work with come from the US and need to be �Europeanised� so that they can be used in the European target market.

We usually work with English files - translation is at a later stage � therefore there is no language requirement other than English.

Requirements:
- Experienced InDesign user � ideally have your own tools
- Experience in creating/ updating brochures, flyers, etc
- Available on a freelance basis either in Central London or from home
