Autoscript has been awarded the contract to supply prompting services for the BBC’s new Farsi language news service which already launched in June 2008, and we are looking to recruit a full-time operator, initially on a 4 month contract.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You will be working as a dedicated autocue operator on the channel based in central London.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an exciting television production environment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You will be completely fluent in Farsi and English – both written and spoken – and must be a proficient touch-typist (testing in these areas will be part of the interview process).  Complete fluency in Arabic as well as Farsi and English, will definitely be desirable.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Full training will be provided but you must have experience of working with Microsoft Windows programmes and be IT literate.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This is a demanding job in a pressurised environment which will thrive on and be able to function in, accepting that varied shift pattern are part of the job.  You may be required to work above and beyond your normal hours at time of breaking news.&lt;br /&gt;

You will report directly to the Hire Manger at Autoscript, and as a customer facing representative of the company you will have to present yourself as smart, professional and approachable at all times.  &lt;br /&gt;

•	Must have staff management experience;&lt;br /&gt;
•	Good with clients and staff;&lt;br /&gt;

• To understand grammar, language construction and nuances of your native language and apply these to the Adaptxt software&lt;br /&gt;
• To convert / translate user manuals / documents&lt;br /&gt;
• To convert presentation and B2B documents into relevant language domains&lt;br /&gt;
• To proof and endorse all current and future language translations&lt;br /&gt;
• To articulate and demonstrate the capabilities of KPT’s software to potential and existing clients and at trade shows, international software events&lt;br /&gt;
