Job Title	- Japanese speaking Accounts Manager&lt;br /&gt;
Salary	- £30-37K (depends on experience), plus benefits&lt;br /&gt;
Location	- Castle Donington, Derby&lt;br /&gt;
Working Hours - 8:30-17:00 core hours, additionally as and when required outside core hours to enable successful completion of role.&lt;br /&gt;

Accounts Department&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Accounts Function is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and strong financial control in relation to UK and its subsidiaries. As a result of rapid business growth, there is a need to consolidate and develop financial processes, systems and procedures. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Role &lt;br /&gt;
The role of Manager is critical to the smooth functioning and continuing improvement of the Derby based businesses. As well as overseeing the work of 6 members of the team, effective team work with the London Headquarters is essential. The role will focus on management of the Accounts Department to ensure accurate accounting and strong financial controls. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
More specifically: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
-	Management of the Derby Accounting Department and its staff&lt;br /&gt;
-	Oversee the end-to-end accounting process for Derby office and its subsidiaries&lt;br /&gt;
-	Develop the internal control system in line with JSOX&lt;br /&gt;
-	Responsible for setting up Budget and variance analysis&lt;br /&gt;
-	Lead/ facilitate implementation of countermeasures, working with other Department Managers&lt;br /&gt;
-	Clear reporting to Top Management&lt;br /&gt;
-	Liaison with internal and external auditors, Statutory and Regulatory bodies &lt;br /&gt;
-	Ad hoc work requested by Financial Controller&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Person&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ideally, candidates should have the following attributes:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- ACCA or ACA qualified (or part-qualified time barred), CIMA and relevant experience also considered &lt;br /&gt;
- Proven ability to manage a team&lt;br /&gt;
- Capability to develop and implement IT and internal control systems&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent communication skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent analytical skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Able to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritise&lt;br /&gt;
- Good team player&lt;br /&gt;
- Flexible &lt;br /&gt;
- Experience in SAP (Desirable)&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience in internal or external audit  (Desirable)&lt;br /&gt;
- Ability to manage/ facilitate change (Desirable)&lt;br /&gt;
