Job Purpose &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To deliver a high level of service to internal customers whilst seeking to at all times to maximise supplier credit terms and add value to the business by ensuring all monies due are paid according to negotiated terms.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Key Accountabilities &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Support the delivery of defined, high quality transactional and business service associated with the Accounts Payable process, to agreed performance and cost targets, in an environment that encourages continuous improvement to the underlying global processes and outcomes &lt;br /&gt;
• Conform to the procurement policies &amp; treasury guidelines in the accounts payable areas including working with the site based procurement teams &amp; site accountants to ensure correct site purchasing procedures are followed and goods or service receipt are done in a timely manner &lt;br /&gt;
• Maintain and develop key relationships with both the site based procurement organisation and the other parts of the organisation such that the overall business process is as streamlined and effective as possible in order to optimise the Accounts Payable process &lt;br /&gt;
• Maintain and develop key relationships with the outsourced electronic or scanned invoice provider &lt;br /&gt;
• Ensure maximum value is extracted from supplier base by adherence to supplier payment terms, gaining maximum benefit for working capital &lt;br /&gt;
• Pro actively resolve any Accounts Payable process failures, in accordance with service level agreement requirements, ensuring corrective actions are taken and that lessons learned are incorporated in future operating processes&lt;br /&gt;

JOB PURPOSE&lt;br /&gt;

To assist the Credit Control Team Leader deliver a high-level credit control service to internal customers whilst seeking to at all times to minimise credit risk exposure and add value to the business by ensuring all monies due are collected according to negotiated terms.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Key Accountabilities &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• To ensure compliance with the global credit policies &lt;br /&gt;
• Maintain and develop key relationships with both the country based sales organisation and the appropriate based teams &lt;br /&gt;
• Support the delivery of defined, high quality credit control &amp; accounts receivable service, to agreed performance and targets, in an environment that encourages continuous improvement of the underlying global processes and outcomes &lt;br /&gt;
• Understand &amp; conform to credit management policies.  This will include working with other internal companies to ensure assessment &amp; actions taken to recognise &amp; mitigate against risk are appropriate. &lt;br /&gt;
• Deliver a proactive credit management service, assessing credit limits for new customers and routinely reviewing existing customers.  Implicit in this process is analysing the input from on line credit rating agencies, customer financial statements &amp; consultation with sales managers &lt;br /&gt;
• Ensure credit management reporting reflects business need &amp; a proactive approach.  Senior management must be kept fully appraised of global status &amp; exposure to Key Account customers &lt;br /&gt;
• Work alongside the Order Fulfillment team ensuring speedy decisions are made in the event of credit check failures &lt;br /&gt;
• Maintain the relevant business / legal entities Accounts Receivable ledgers &lt;br /&gt;
• Prepare forecasts of customer receipts to be used by the Record to Report team to meet Treasury requirements &lt;br /&gt;
