The role of the Customer Service Representative is to assist customers, and other internal departments, Sales Representatives, with questions, concerns and demands that arise regarding accounts and orders. This position reports to the Customer Services Manager.

Responsibilities
� Answer incoming telephone calls from customers, sales representatives and other internal departments
� Take and enter orders into SAP system
� Work directly with the Manager and department to ensure timeliness of work schedule.
� Check inventory status for customers and provide weekly updates for sales team.
� Follow up on requests for shipments.
� Work with Shipping Department on requests for priority shipments, backorders & cancellations.
� Assist customers with pricing, credits, invoices and terms. Forward calls to the Credit Department when necessary.
� Investigate initial requests for returned items, negotiate with customer to keep items and correct the situation as needed; complete appropriate RA paperwork in timely manner.
� Update requested delivery dates as necessary.
� Assist all other internal departments when needed, in particular have close contact and communication with colleagues in the Paris office and the Sales team based in France
� Submit allocation orders and cover sheets on timely basis and in accordance with procedure.
� Direct sales to customers.
� Provide reps and customers with all necessary information of available stock.
� Provide strong support for all sales reps. Important in all areas including supplying relevant order information and point of sale material when requested.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge
Through a minimum of one to two years of general office experience, you must be able to demonstrate acquired skills and measurable success in each of the following areas:
� Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and preferably, SAP
� Excellent communication and organizational skills a must
� Fluency in French, both written and oral
