Area Sales Manager - Export Sales (Baltic States, Belarus, Ukraine)&lt;br /&gt;

Our client is a leading worldwide provider of filtration systems and replacement parts. Due to the continued expansion and development of their Export Department, they are now looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager, reporting to the Export Manager in the UK. This position will be based at Leicester but will require regular travel to the Baltic States, Belarus and Ukraine to visit customers, distributors and agents.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Within the role, the Area Sales Manager will:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- Ensure that sales and gross profit goals are achieved or exceeded&lt;br /&gt;
- Ensure that customer inquiries, requests or complaints are reacted to swiftly and in a professional manner&lt;br /&gt;
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations&lt;br /&gt;
- Develop, propose and execute action plans to create new leads and inquiries &lt;br /&gt;
- Initiate Distribution expansion and manage Conflict situations&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To be successful in this role, the Area Sales Manager will be a self-motivated and target-driven individual with previous sales experience. You will have preferably sold filtration systems and equipment successfully through agents, distributors, OEMs and end users. Due to the nature of this role, Russian language skills would be a big advantage, but are not essential. You’ll also require strong business awareness, well-developed communication skills and a competitive desire to succeed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Applicants will also significantly benefit from having:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience of technical sales of Capital Equipment and Air Purification systems&lt;br /&gt;
- Russian language skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Good knowledge of the industrial landscape in the area and in the countries&lt;br /&gt;
- Profound understanding of customer satisfaction&lt;br /&gt;
- Understanding of the competitiveness of a proposed solution and its price&lt;br /&gt;
- Understanding of the profitability of a project&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
