WE ARE RECRUITING DUTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS FOR OUR CLIENTS TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM IN BUCKINHAMSHIRE ENGLAND.

Main Duties: Inbound Call Handling

 Handle in-coming calls from client�s customers.
 Track, Escalate, (as appropriate) and Resolve queries as appropriate.
 Log all calls.
 Provide feedback on problem status to customers.
 Provide product and pricing information to customers.
 Develop technical knowledge of products in order to increase resolution capability.
 Display a positive company image at all times
 Assist in the generation of hot-line support tools and process improvements

Database Management

 Assist in the design of client specific databases to handle all aspects of the support requirements
 Build specific customer databases as required.
 Enter all pertinent customer information into the database.
 Update customer records as required.

General

 Report on call activity on a regular basis.
 Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Personnel Specification:

 Good communication skills.
 Self-starter.
 Team-player
 Third level technical qualification and/or relevant experience : 1 �2 years
 Previous telephone and customer service experience is an advantage
 Previous technical support experience desirable bur not essential
 Ability to work flexible hours/days as client needs require.

Technical Skills Specification:

 Knowledge of PC architecture
 Experience in dealing with the different releases of DOS and Windows (�98, NT,2000)
operating systems as well as Apple Macintosh and Linux
 Knowledge of database systems and languages e.g. Excel, Access, SQL
 Knowledge of Internet applications
 Understanding of web design would be advantageous

My client is a successful business solutions company with global reach. They actively manage a number of contracts across the UK and Europe.
They are looking to recruit an Analyst who is fluent in Dutch for a role based in Milton Keynes with travel to Holland. If required, it is possible that the position could be based full time in Holland.
Primarily the position is managing business and finance information for two of their largest corporate contracts. This is a standalone role, providing reports and commentary both internally and to the client.
A strong written and spoken knowledge of Dutch is essential from the perspective of understanding detailed contract documents.
A finance qualification would be ideal although not essential. You will have a strong understanding of commerce and the ability to work effectively with senior management.

Company: A leading translation company based in Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire. The company has a varied client base and offers a clear career structure with strong opportunities for development within the translation sector.

Role:
As part of an international team of approximately fifty checkers, the work of the translation checker will involve word-by-word proof reading and checking of translations prepared by in-house and external technical staff and sometimes adapting existing translations to conform to new versions of foreign documents. Due to the high levels of accuracy involved, the translation checkers work in their own mother-tongue.

The following combination of language roles are currently available.

English mother tongue and excellent German, preferably combined with another language, ideally Chinese, Dutch, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish or Swedish,

English mother tongue and excellent French, preferably with Spanish,

German mother tongue and excellent English,

Spanish mother tongue and excellent English

French mother tongue with English & German degree

Dutch mother tongue with English degree

Recruits who demonstrate their ability could be offered the opportunity to progress to trainee translator status, involving further technical study, and then to full translator status or alternatively to administrative functions within the company, many of these openings being filled internally.

Person:
Must be able to offer one of the above language combinations
Language or translation degree or professional equivalent
Good proof reading skills
Strong attention to detail, high levels of accuracy and strong powers of concentration.
An interest in the translation sector
Able to commute or relocate to Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire (direct train from Marylebone station).
