Recruitment Consultant - Up to �30,000 + uncapped commission

Due to ongoing expansion, Merrow Language Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Recruitment Consultants. Based in North London, you will be working in a successful team, specialised in the recruitment of language professionals throughout the UK.

Job Role:

With the backing, support and lead generation of an established recruitment website, you will maximise sales and gross margin through the placement of permanent and temporary staff with clients, reflecting the values of Merrow Consultants within a niche, target led environment.

Sales- To develop and maintain a profitable client base through a proactive, planned, sales approach to current and prospective clients.

Recruitment- To develop and maintain a pool of assessed and motivated candidates in line with anticipated demand, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company operating standards.

Service- To match and exceed client expectations by offering a reliable, responsive permanent recruitment service, maximising efficiency through the effective use of technology and standard company permanent business operating processes.

Tasks/ Duties/Responsibilities

Sales

- To proactively develop new business opportunities by identifying and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients.
-To proactively manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance.
-To proactively promote candidates through candidate marketing calls.
-To enhance the national and local sales initiatives by ensuring all appropriate leads are recorded for action in line with the company business development plan.

Recruitment

-To prepare and facilitate the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment ensuring an accurate and appropriate database to meet client needs.
-To screen, interview and assess candidates in line with company standards and understanding of their job and career requirements.

Service

-To obtain full job specifications and person specifications from clients maximising each opportunity for placements.
-To visit clients to obtain full job specs and ensure all clients have signed T&C�s and that all rates are in line with Merrow Language Recruitment expectations.
-To proactively match candidates to vacancies.
-To arrange interviews, ensuring full candidate and client briefing and de-briefing
-To carry out post placement checks.
-To regularly review customer satisfaction levels through a diarised service evaluation programme in line with client�s expectations.
-To arrange and attend Client Service Visits.

Recruitment experience is a must. The ability to speak any European languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish would be and advantage but not essential.

Salary

Multilingual Sales Executive

Our client requires a dynamic sales professional with strong commercial experience. The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships over the telephone and sell products for which training will be provided. The ability to speak German, Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch or other European languages.

Location: North London

The individual must be prepared to be flexible and work with targets. It will also require strong organizational skills. At least 18 months experience in a sales environment is key (preferably within the FMCG �Fast Moving Consumer Goods market�). Experience of dealing with customers over the phone is essential to performing successfully in this opportunity.
Good knowledge of excel, word are also essential.

The right candidate will be required to use a data base to keep records, logs and reminders of calls to make.

SKILLS

� Cold calling, warm calling
� To develop and make active the current database
� Account management
� Negotiate over pricing
� To trade some products (pre sell)
� Work with price list to build consignments
� Report directly to Director
� Be flexible to use old system whilst we implement new system
� NETWORKING
� Strong relationship building skills
� High volume telephone work
� Office based for first year � subject to development
� Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
� Reporting to the commercial director
� After a six month probation period and when targets are established there will be an incentive scheme introduced

Salary: �18000- �20000 plus commission

Holiday 20 days per year (in first 5 years you can earn an extra day per year). Hence max 25 days
