We are looking for experienced, qualified and specialised freelance translators to join our database of translators. Due to the nature of our business and top-quality expectations of our clients you will need to have 5 years proven experience as translator and be willing to show us samples of past projects and also submit a test translation. We are looking for freelance translators across all fields of specialisation and all languages as we have a diverse client portfolio, however a large part of our projects are from English to most languages� and also to English from most major languages. We prefer our freelance translators to live in the country of their mother-tongue we are also interested in UK based translators.

We are looking for experienced, qualified and specialised freelance copywriters to join our database. You will be involved mainly with international adaptation of advertising and marketing copy, from English into your own language and market. Excellent understanding of English, translation skills and creative flair in your mother tongue are crucial; knowledge of your local market - essential. Due to the nature of our business and top-quality expectations of our clients you will need to have proven copywriting experience (preferably as an in-house copywriter) in the advertising sector and we will also ask you to submit your portfolio and you will also be asked to complete a sample test adaptation.

This is a one year maternity contract, based in the IT Department of a major European Union organisation based in Canary Wharf, London.

Position: Web publisher

General objectives
Daily web content management, preparation and publishing
Daily creation and/or editing of Web pages

Other objectives
Contribute towards the creation of guidance documents and also provide information to staff on the web publishing process.

Software skill set:
" Excellent knowledge of Dreamweaver (mandatory)
" Fireworks / Photoshop
" Adobe Acrobat
" HTML / XHTML
" CSS
" JavaScript (at least to script modification level)

TEAM SECRETARIES WITH EU LANGUAGES - TEMPORARY AND TEMP TO PERM - CANARY WHARF! Start ASAP

Our Client, a major European Union body responsible for the protection and promotion of public and animal health throughout the EU, is recruiting experienced team secretaries with fluency in English and minimum one other EU language for their HQ based in Canary Wharf, London. .

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a truly cosmopolitan organisation offering a sociable and professional environment with excellent working conditions (37.5 hour working week) and ongoing training.

The roles will start on a temp basis for approx. 6 - 12 months with a possibility of becoming permanent on a contractual basis, or continuing on a long-term temporary basis.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES:
- Full secretarial support including typing and sending of memos, filing of letters, answering telephone calls, etc.
- Preparation and finalisation of documentation in all European languages, implementing linguistic changes from Member States
- Preparation of first draft of assessment reports relating to administrative information.
- Formatting and PDF of documents for specialised group
- Preparation of correspondence between the Marketing Authoirsation Holder, Standing Committee Members and the European Commission.
- Telephone liaison with pharmaceutical companies.
- Organisation of formal meetings, expert meetings, preparation and follow-up of meetings, including the co-ordination of other related activities and for arranging logistics with Conference Services including availability of meeting rooms, photocopying and distributions of documents.
- Preparation of presentations/ slides for internal/ external meetings and conferences.
- Preparation and follow-up of travel itineraries including completion of relevant forms, travel arrangements, hotel accommodation, expenses etc.
- Contribution to management of Master files, ADRs and databases.
- Entering paper information for the whole sector into the in-house database.

REQUIREMENTS
Fluency in one of the following EU languages is essential:
German/French/Spanish/Italian/ Dutch/Portuguese / Swedish/Danish/ Finnish/Greek/Hungarian/ Czech/ Slovak/Polish/ Estonian/ Lithuanian/Latvian/Slovenian/ Maltese/Romanian/ Bulgarian
Proven secretarial experience, ideally in a team environment (this is not a PA role)
UK based secretarial experience is highly desirable
Advanced MS Word for formatting and editing of long documents, good typing skills.

Candidates should be EU passport holders and educated to A level equivalent standard.
Candidates will be required to provide a copy of their school leaving diploma BEFORE their application can be submitted to the client.

Hourly rates in the region of �12 - 14 per hour + Holiday Pay. Permanent salary from �25 - 30K.

Rapidly expanding US company looking for 1 accountancy graduate and 2 experienced accountants / financial specialists for their global finance team in Krakow, Poland which deals with all internal accounting, finance, regulatory, tax, and legal matters. The person would be trained for up to one year in in the US. The person would be responsible for Polish legal and regulatory issues concerning fincncial instruments - hedge funds, derivatives etc.

2 - 7 years + experience as an accountant
