Based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire you will be working for an established
leading international research company. This role would suit a bright
candidate, of graduate calibre, who is considering a career as a
researcher/analyst and there is a definite career path! You will be
collecting qualitative and quantitive research via telephone surveys and via
face to face, assisting with the creation of research questionnaires,
recording accurately all collated data, some basic forcasting, contributing
to the construction of written reports and dealing with customer wnquiries.
Yo do this you will need to have some research or telephone based customer
service experience, be confident, ambitious with a desire to succeed, have
an enquiring mind, a thirst for knowledge, good admin and time management
skills and be a real team player! Your IT skills should include Word, Excel
and Powerpoint. If you have the above experience and fluency in French,
Italian, Chinese (with visa) or Eastern European languages, this would be a
plus!

Our client, a successful multinational organisation based in Buckinghamshire is seeking someone with Eastern European backround, fluent in german and English to join their multilingual team as a Customer Service representative. This main focus of the Customer Services team is on managing the order-to-delivery process to ensure fast and reliable order fulfilment for customers in the EMEA region. Working within a team of 9 you will have primary responsibility for a specific country/region, as well as provide support and absence cover for at least one other country/region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Timely, accurate, entry of customer orders into the order management system.
- Liaise with Customers to gather any additional information required, confirm their orders and keep them informed of progress.
- Checking order progress, lead-time and quantity.
- Liaise with planning and purchasing to ensure that customer orders are prioritised, progressing appropriately and that service levels are met.
- Ensure that clear and correct despatch instructions are provided to the despatch team.
- Promptly notify customers of any order/shipment discrepancies and provide the intended resolution plan.
- Work closely with the relevant Sales Manager and Internal Sales Representative for the Country/Region to help achieve sales objectives and meet customers' needs.
- Deal promptly and effectively with all customer requests and queries
- Working with Credit Control/Finance to resolve all invoice queries.
- Liaising with external service providers (couriers and forwarding agents) to resolve delivery queries.
- Build effective relationships with all internal and external contacts to constantly improve information flow and the order process.
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records and price lists.
- Collating information and producing reports as required.

Candidate Requirements:

- Fluent in German as well as English and, ideally, another Eastern European language.
- At least 1 year's customer service experience, preferably within a business to business environment.
- Experience of using an in-house database and Microsoft Office packages.
- Strong administrative, organisational and decision making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Experience of liaising with other supply chain activities (e.g. Suppliers/manufacturers, distribution/logistics) to ensure delivery of products to the customer would be an advantage.

The Role:

The role exists to insure that procurement of product is undertaken on a daily basis in line with the customer�s requirements both short & long term.This involves the management of inventory levels within the EMEA Distribution Centre to optimum levels taking into account market & company requirements. Daily Duties:

Regular reviews of current inventory and back orders to keep stock levels at optimum levels for the forthcoming months.

Management of tactical supply chain fulfilment, with identification of customer specific or inventory related challenges with ability to resolve.

Keeps informed of changing market conditions, trends and products and reacts appropriately to gain advantage or minimise risk.
