Overview
We currently have a requirement for a French Speaking Supply Chain Planner to be based out of their Newquay office in Cornwall. Candidates must have relevant supply chain planning experience with experience of working with consumer products. My client produce many products including car care products, anti-freezes, polishes, oil so experience of working within a packaging or chemical environment is required

The Role
This position reports to the Supply and Demand Manager of Holts Europe for the Consumer Products group. Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, operations & capacity planning are key. Familiarity with lean tools and techniques are desired. Solid program management, communication skills are critical for success in this role.

� Direct ownership for planning, ordering and expediting of all finished goods into European Warehouses from internal and external suppliers.
� Responsibility for MRP results from ERP system, supplier service levels, availability of goods and inventory for the European warehouses
� Work closely with warehouse manager in order to optimize procurement and storage parameters
� Update all inventory parameters, optimizing safety stocks and supplier minimum order quantities
� Improve customer fill rate defining production priorities with suppliers
� Ensure inventory levels reduced and customer fulfillment levels maintained
� Collaborate with sales and marketing on promotional activities and new product developments
� Teamwork with other supply chain and operations resources on specific projects ? safety stock
