Based in Manchester, our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as an International Internal Auditor. This job would suit a Spanish speaking Qualified Accountant, with previous experience in Internal Audit.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My client is a large blue chip organisation, experiencing rapid acquisitive and organic growth, they are well known for its market leader presence and outstanding commitment to staff development . £2billion Turnover globally.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 - Plan, control and co-ordinate the work of the Operational Control Latam team within the assigned responsibilities to ensure that adequate financial and management controls are operating throughout the region and that the assets of the group are properly protected.  &lt;br /&gt;
- Undertake special project work, or line responsibilities in emergencies, as agreed by the Group Head of Operational Control.  &lt;br /&gt;
- Provide an internal consultancy service that may be used by management, particularly in the areas of specialist knowledge.  &lt;br /&gt;
- To provide independent and objective assurance to senior management, the Board and the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of the companies risk management, control and governance processes.  &lt;br /&gt;
- To assist in achieving its strategic goals by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of these processes.  &lt;br /&gt;
-  The role will involve 25% UK travel and 25% non UK travel (mainly Spain). &lt;br /&gt;

Person Specification &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Essential&lt;br /&gt;
- Professionally Qualified with previous experience &lt;br /&gt;
- Spanish Speaking (Fluency) is essential for the role &lt;br /&gt;
- Demonstrable experience of external audit&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent communication and influencing skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Demonstrable experience of working independently on audit reviews, leading audit teams and drafting and presenting audit findings&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent commercial awareness  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Desirable&lt;br /&gt;
- Sound knowledge of risk management&lt;br /&gt;
- Systems Development and Project Management skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Knowledge of CAATS&lt;br /&gt;
- Demonstrable experience of Global/ complex organisations&lt;br /&gt;
- Computing degree or previous experience of IT audits&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The Finance Assistant will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary of up to GBP GBP17,000.00 along with 20 days holiday, rising to 25 days after 1 year alongside excellent working hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm, fee car parking, child care vouchers and other additional benefits. Within the role of Finance Assistant you will  &lt;br /&gt;

- Authorise and code all foreign currency invoices against contracted rates and investigate any discrepancies&lt;br /&gt;
- Deal with suppliers by phone, fax or email reconciling and investigating supplier accounts&lt;br /&gt;
- Code and input all foreign invoice details to allow for payment to be made using the Sage accounts package&lt;br /&gt;
- Produce foreign payment runs - raising foreign bank account cheques and processing BACS payments&lt;br /&gt;
- Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Individuals that would be ideal for the Finance Assistant role will be able to demonstrate&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- A sound understanding of accounts procedures and computerised accounts packages&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong organisational skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Previous work experience of dealing with foreign currencies/invoicing&lt;br /&gt;
- The ability to speak in a European language - French/German/Spanish (Desirable)&lt;br /&gt;
