In-house translator with at least two-years' experience. Native speaker of Spanish who can translate from Japanese into his/her native language. The task is to translate everything necessary for the localisation of computer games, including in-game text, manuals and packaging, etc.

Experience in computer game translation will be advantageous but not essential.

He/she will need to be able to be precise, pay attention to details, work over a long period of time for one project, and flexible enough to adjust to a sudden change of the initial schedule, unpredictable extra tasks and various restrictions on the text (legal requirements and space limitations, etc.).

Skills:

General PC skills, especially in Excel. Good communication skills in Japanese and English are essential. An ability to work as a team is also important. For non-native English speakers, sufficient level of English to live in the UK and communicate with the other members of the company.

Job based in: West London (it is essential for the translator to work in our office. Working at home via e-mail is not an option.)

Our client, based in NW London, is a world leading export company.

They currently have a requirement for an Export Customer Executive.

Your role, which will be to ensure customer satisfaction by receiving and processing all incoming queries from export customers promptly and efficiently, will include the following duties and responsibilities:

* To take incoming calls from export customers via telephone, fax and email
* To provide support to the Managers and inform Sales Manager of any additional sampling needs of the customer
* Ensure export shipping orders and sample requests are processed immediately
* Advise customers of any delays or problems and continue to keep them informed
* To inform Team Leader of any issues affecting Customer Service
* To provide Sales Information to the sales managers as requested
* To advise the accounts department and sales managers of any discrepancies on credit limits
* To provide assistance and support to any member of the team as and when requested and assistance in other areas of the customer services department

To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills and background:

* Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Fluency also in 1 other language is an advantage but not essential
* Have a good understanding of export customer services and procedures
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Be able to multi-task and very well organised
* Be personable, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
* Be reliable, pro-active, a team player and flexible
* Have good IT skills - basic database work on Excel is required
