1.Overall purpose of the Role:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To traffic broadcast and post production material for the Central &amp; Eastern European Channel from programme delivery through all dubbing and post production processes to transmission of the service&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2.Responsibilities:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•Produce and Co-ordinate schedules for the dubbing of material for territory transmission deadlines&lt;br /&gt;
•Liaison with Programme Planning department regarding schedules &amp; launch dates&lt;br /&gt;
•Checking series delivery dates and dubbing schedules to ensure all launch and TX dates can be met&lt;br /&gt;
•Raising any issues with delivery or dubbing which can affect deadlines to the Traffic manager in advance&lt;br /&gt;
•Liaison with distributors regarding materials delivery schedules and quality of materials&lt;br /&gt;
•Organise and co-ordinate dubbing, liaising with dubbing houses, subtitlers and service providers&lt;br /&gt;
•Ensuring dubbing guidelines and restrictions for each series are correct and supply the guidelines to the dubbing houses &lt;br /&gt;
•Negotiating any changes, prices, difficulties with dubbing houses&lt;br /&gt;
•Maintaining and managing an effective and efficient good relationship with the dubbing houses.&lt;br /&gt;
•Ensure the duplication and shipping of master material for dubbing houses to schedule&lt;br /&gt;
•Receiving shipments of material from dubbing houses&lt;br /&gt;
•Monitoring and ensuring translations are suitable for channel and programming materials &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•Raise, feedback  and resolve with dubbing houses with regard to any translation issues as necessary&lt;br /&gt;
•Organising, and if necessary attending, audio lay back sessions and edits&lt;br /&gt;
•Arrange creation of DAT cassettes where necessary &lt;br /&gt;
•Spot checking that dubbed audio tracks are correct&lt;br /&gt;
•Spot checking subtitles on receipt to ensure the subtitles are correct &lt;br /&gt;
•Co-ordinating all minor vision and sound or subtitling repairs as may be required&lt;br /&gt;
•Dealing with invoices from dubbing houses, following the payment progress.&lt;br /&gt;
•Highlighting actual and potential problem areas or bottlenecks and providing solutions&lt;br /&gt;
•Checking material on receipt against paperwork&lt;br /&gt;
•Entering programme information onto IBMS&lt;br /&gt;
•Assigning Programme Versions on Daily Programme Lists 10 days in advance.&lt;br /&gt;
•Daily Arcamedia checks ensuring assigned programmes were ingested and ready for TX &lt;br /&gt;
•Proficient and Accurate use of Systems for working procedures: PETS, IBMS&lt;br /&gt;
•Maintaining programme, materials and language databases -keeping up to date at all times.&lt;br /&gt;
•Filing appropriate paperwork provided&lt;br /&gt;
•Involvement as required in Russian Commercial Opt Out Service&lt;br /&gt;
•Liasing with Opt Out Providers and ensuring procedures adhered to and understood.&lt;br /&gt;
•Co-ordinate daily traffic of material between traffic and library&lt;br /&gt;
•Representing the Traffic Department at meetings and other functions&lt;br /&gt;
•Researching, Solving and/or following up any issues or problems related to the channel, dubbing house or languages&lt;br /&gt;
•Translation Duties and language services as required&lt;br /&gt;
•Other duties as they occur&lt;br /&gt;

3.Competencies/Skills:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•Fluency in Russian and in another of the following languages an advantage – Romanian / Bulgarian / Serbian &lt;br /&gt;
•Good interpersonal skills&lt;br /&gt;
•Ability to work well under pressure &amp; to deadlines &lt;br /&gt;
•Attention to Detail&lt;br /&gt;
•Highly Organised and Excellent Planning Skills&lt;br /&gt;
•Additional languages an advantage&lt;br /&gt;
