The Role&lt;br /&gt;
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced FX Derivative Professional to join our expanding Apllication Specialist Group in London. The successful candidate will be part of a growing department with responsibilities including:&lt;br /&gt;
- Assisting the EMEA sales force in furthering our reputation as the global market leader &amp; meeting the high-level analytical demands of our customers both on a 1:1 basis or through presenting at seminars and conferences where appropriate.&lt;br /&gt;
- liaising with both clients and product managers thus influencing the future direction of our product&lt;br /&gt;
- Furthering the knowledge of our sales force through internal training and&lt;br /&gt;
seminars&lt;br /&gt;
The role will involve a high level of autonomy and will require extensive&lt;br /&gt;

Qualifications&lt;br /&gt;

- Substantial experience in FX Derivative and FX structured products as a Trader, sales person, or similar role. Knowledge of other asset classes is an advantage&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent communication &amp; customer service skills required.&lt;br /&gt;
- Ability to present to small and large groups.&lt;br /&gt;
- Fluency in a second European language is an advantage.&lt;br /&gt;

DUTIES&lt;br /&gt;

-Work closely with senior team member to identify any aspect of the project where assistance might be requested, such as glossary creation and translation memories.&lt;br /&gt;
-Timely complete job related administrative tasks and regularly update Atlas with job status.&lt;br /&gt;
-Perform Quality assurance checks on translated documents.&lt;br /&gt;
-Regularly compile and update glossaries, previously translated similar documents, list of acronyms, technical terminology, and translation memories.&lt;br /&gt;
-For repeat clients, research previous translation teams and reference material to ensure consistency.&lt;br /&gt;
-With the assistance of senior PC select and assign translation teams, negotiate deadlines and coordinate production with translators, proofreaders, and Customer Service Reps.&lt;br /&gt;
-Keep senior PC/Supervisor up to date at all times via Status Reports.&lt;br /&gt;
-Keep all traffic in ATLAS up-to-date at all times and maintain accurate records of all costs.&lt;br /&gt;
-Check vendors\' invoices for accuracy and match to purchase order.&lt;br /&gt;
-Exercise sound judgement in keeping supervisor informed of potential difficulties including those affecting cost and turn-around.&lt;br /&gt;
-Check completeness and accuracy of translation prior to sending it to client (where directly in contact), to senior staff member or to typesetting if needed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
REQUIREMENTS&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
-Degree or equivalent in Translation and/or interpretation or equivalent experience&lt;br /&gt;
-Fluent in English plus Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or Finnish&lt;br /&gt;
-Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat).&lt;br /&gt;
-Ability to learn quickly how to create glossaries, assess quality and completeness of translations.&lt;br /&gt;
