KPT business ethics offer long term employee prospects & promotions.<br /> <br /> We currently seek talented linguistic professionals to join our Language and Linguistics team<br /> <br /> KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES<br /> <br /> The holder of this position will work closely with the languages and linguistics and product development teams playing a critical role in developing the next generation language capabilities required for our Adaptxt software. The language support team will also be required to assist in product demonstrations of Adaptxt software in their native languages.<br /> <br /> GENERAL TASKS & DUTIES<br /> <br /> • To assist in the development of next generation KPT UI products incorporating international languages, focusing initially on French, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese and either one of Swedish, Finnish, Arabic (written), Dutch, Portuguese or Italian.<br /> • To ensure KPT is at the forefront of the technology market in international integration of text input systems<br /> • To undertake research and provide recommendations for language dictionaries<br /> • To install appropriate dictionaries<br /> • To test authenticity, validity and accuracy of all language installations or downloads<br /> • To understand grammar, language construction and nuances of your native language and apply these to the Adaptxt software<br /> • To convert / translate user manuals / documents<br /> • To convert presentation and B2B documents into relevant language domains<br /> • To proof and endorse all current and future language translations<br /> • To articulate and demonstrate the capabilities of KPT’s software to potential and existing clients and at trade shows, international software events<br /> • To facilitate internationalisation of the website in liaison with the marketing team<br /> • To assist in the production of language-specific marketing collateral<br /> • To identify important cultural differences via research / experience<br /> <br /> REQUIRED BACKGROUND<br /> <br /> • Degree in linguistics or translation<br /> • Multilingual capabilities in international languages, primarily French, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
