Our client conducts clinical trials for many of the major pharmaceutical companies; healthy volunteers are used to help in the evaluation of new  medicines. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
An enthusiastic Japanese speaking Clinical Trial Assistant is now sought .  The person should be looking to develop a career within a medical research environment.  They would be expected to support the Research Nurses and Physicians by assisting in the planning and conduct of clinical trials. This would include liaising with study volunteers and collaborators to facilitate the efficient running of the study, performing clinical tasks and maintaining records when a trial is in progress. &lt;br /&gt;

The Person&lt;br /&gt;

The position would suit someone with a science degree or a Nurse or Pharmacist (not necessarily registered in the UK) who is interested in a career in Clinical Research. Some experience of working within a laboratory or a clinical environment would be an advantage. A manager is now sought to facilitate the collaboration with Japanese Clients and manage Japanese and other studies within a highly professional team. &lt;br /&gt;

THE PERSON&lt;br /&gt;
Candidates should possess a life sciences degree, or equivalent, and be fluent in both English and Japanese, written and oral. The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience within an early phase research unit and have experience of working within a laboratory and clinical environment. &lt;br /&gt;
You will also have experience of managing studies as part of a study team. Some Quality Control experience would also be an advantage&lt;br /&gt;
You should also have excellent attention to detail, self - motivation and interpersonal skills as you will be required to liaise closely with Japanese volunteers, patients and clients to ensure each study is delivered to the highest standard and within the required time lines.&lt;br /&gt;
