In-house translator with at least two-years' experience. Native speaker of French who can translate from Japanese into his/her native language. The task is to translate everything necessary for the localisation of computer games, including in-game text, manuals and packaging, etc.

Experience in computer game translation will be advantageous but not essential.

He/she will need to be able to be precise, pay attention to details, work over a long period of time for one project, and flexible enough to adjust to a sudden change of the initial schedule, unpredictable extra tasks and various restrictions on the text (legal requirements and space limitations, etc.).

Skills:

General PC skills, especially in Excel. Good communication skills in Japanese and English are essential. An ability to work as a team is also important. For non-native English speakers, sufficient level of English to live in the UK and communicate with the other members of the company.

Job based in: West London (it is essential for the translator to work in our office. Working at home via e-mail is not an option.)

German

Job Role

The task is to translate everything necessary for the localisation of computer games, including in-game text, manuals and packaging, etc.

The Candidate
