The Role Requires:&lt;br /&gt;
• Supporting and assisting clients with regards to Net Connect, Configuration &amp; Service Tracker, SSA, Storage products and SCSC products and applications&lt;br /&gt;
• Remote administration of customers on a variety of hardware platforms and OS's including UNIX/Solaris, Linux and Windows &lt;br /&gt;
• Conducting a range of activities based upon customer contract level which includes OS support, hardware fault diagnosis, scheduling backups, patching, upgrades and administrative activities associated with remote support of customer systems and infrastructure&lt;br /&gt;
• Conducting event monitoring (including maintenance and installation) to either facilitate remote administration or enable remote monitoring by other personnel within RSC&lt;br /&gt;
• Compiling (and depending on business needs, present) customer reports to demonstrate performance &lt;br /&gt;
• Creating knowledge documentation&lt;br /&gt;
• Research through available resources (sunsolve, NC documentation, FAQs, etc) to find the necessary information/solution&lt;br /&gt;
• Compiling the shift report&lt;br /&gt;
• Handling Radiance Cases, OTRS, IMI Tool &amp; Servicedesk Tickets and Beacon&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Essential Skills:&lt;br /&gt;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and French, German, Italian or Spanish&lt;br /&gt;
• A high level of technical aptitude and problem solving ability&lt;br /&gt;
• Familiarity and experience of Solaris, Linux or Unix systems&lt;br /&gt;
• Commitment to providing a first class service, within a service orientated environment&lt;br /&gt;
• Ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision&lt;br /&gt;
• Good social skills and abilities to communicate at all levels&lt;br /&gt;
• Ability to accept responsibility&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
