This role requires an experienced Credit Controller with a pro-active approach to their work, who enjoys liaising with different areas of the company and identifying issues before they arise. The role is a hands on one, but probably more interesting than many \"run of the mill\" credit control roles. The position requires candidates who are happy to deal with a Client base which is often changing, and requires tact, diplomacy and a keen eye for detail. The ability to win friends and influence people is a must. As well as being able to establish rapports with customers quickly, candidates will need to have strong analytical skills and be able to produce and reconcile debtor reports. The credit controller is viewed as an ambassador of the firm as well as a troubleshooter and at times an innovative thinker. Previous credit control experience at senior level is essential as is a \"can do\" approach and Excel and Microsoft office skills.

Commercial Company with strong European links is seeking a Trainee European Credit Analyst to join the Credit Team in Oxford.

Reporting to the European Credit Manager, the role will involve supporting the Analysts in the preparation of credit risk assessments through evaluation of financial statements, credit reports, management accounts and operational performance, along with other factors that affect the evaluation of the credit proposals. You will also be involved in assisting with establishing credit facilities, all of which will support the commercial objectives and promote profitable sales. Liaising with European clients, distributors and head office is an integral part of the role, in addition to reporting.

This role would suit a candidate who has a credit background, can fluently communicate in a European language, both oral and written and who wants to career progress within the Credit Industry. Strong communications skills and advanced Excel skills are essential.
