French or Italian speaking Translator / Localisation technician

Our client, an international company is currently looking for French or Italian Translator/ QA Localisation technician

Current Job Location: Berkshire

Role Purpose

� Test pre-release software on multiple platforms and check all related printed materials.
� To ensure quality of written and spoken word in a designated language and to ensure conformity with format holder requirements.

Responsibilities

- To test pre-release software
- To ensure in-game language quality meets internal quality standards as well as external format holder requirements.
- To verify all printed materials related to software in test
- To provide translations for in-game text and printed materials as and when required
- To carry out testing or evaluation on software as and when required
- Test software from the test plan provided in the required timescale.
- Accurately report defects found by entering them into the database in accordance with company guidelines.
- Re-test open and claimed fixed bugs in later builds and check the corresponding database entry.

Key skills

Essential

- Fluent language speaker
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
- High level of PC literacy including knowledge of MS Office
- Degree level education
- Games player (Interest in games)

Desirable

- Previous testing experience
- Previous games industry experience
- Language or translation related degree
- Previous translation experience

Salary: �16k-�18k Depending on experience
