Ideal Candidate:

A track record of relevant research experience preferred but not essential.
1-2 years work experience in an office environment.
Excellent communication skills � to be employed externally and internally.
Ability to work under pressure.
Analytical skills and proficiency in basic computer tools, such as MS Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer.
Team-oriented spirit but willing to take full responsibility for their own projects.
High level of organisational skills and capable of prioritising between projects.
A very high level of English is required.

We are seeking an experienced Contractor and Purchaser to oversee all the Group & FIT requirements for a international tour operator. You will be developing relationships with hotels and other suppliers (including attractions, restaurants, guides, transport and entertainment venues), contracting rates, purchasing group and FIT allocations and working with local operation suppliers in some areas where the Company appoint a local ground handler.

There will be some travel involved and you should have proven hotel purchasing experience with a good knowledge of Italy as a tourist destination - most of the accommodation is in the 4star category and we require you to have fluent English and Italian.

The Head of Contracting will also involve you in supporting the team in Germany and France so if you have French or German this could be useful.

Operations Supervisor - varied, fun and busy role! Successful adventure and special interest tours company seeks a Supervisor to oversee a small team and take responsibility of the smooth operations of the European tour programme.

A busy and varied role, you will be contracting and negotiating hotel and suppliers (meals, entertainment, attractions) in Europe; preparing rooming lists; helping Tour Directors with on the road queries; working with internal departments such as reservations, sales and marketing and accounts; liaising with overseas agents and managing a small team.

The Company have had a very successful few years and are constantly growing - next year they are introducing a new computer system so we prefer candidates with some technological abilities as you will be involved in learning a new system and training your team on it.

Fluency in English is essential - a 2nd European language is useful especially French.
