International Marketing Co-ordinator – French Speaking

Are you looking to combine your French language skills and marketing experience in a rewarding position in the tourism industry? If so, this could be the role for you.
Our client is a private and public partnership, serving as the strategic tourism body for the South East of England. An opportunity has now arisen for an International Marketing Co-ordinator with fluency in French, to join their team.
Working within the Commercial Services Department, as an International Marketing Co-ordinator you will support the International Manager in the delivery of our client’s international marketing programme. This will involve the delivery of overseas PR and marketing projects.
Your duties will include:
- assisting with the planning and development of targeted PR and trade marketing
- delivering the implementation of overseas campaigns and supporting collateral
- with the Web Marketing Executive, developing web pages and emarketing activity
- liaising with suppliers and industry colleagues to develop, organise and run trade/press visits
- conducting campaign monitoring and post-evaluation and reporting
- undertaking day-to-day budget maintenance and reporting
To be considered for this position, you must be fluent in English and French, and have some marketing experience. You will also need to demonstrate good customer service, admin and communication skills.
Additionally, as the International Marketing Co-ordinator you should also be a confident ‘hands-on’ self starter with good attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and an organised approach.
Whilst not essential, any of the following would prove beneficial to your application: a marketing degree (or equivalent); knowledge of the tourism industry; sales experience; German language skills.
