They are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the operational and procedural activities of the Client Services department in client's London office. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching employees.
Criteria:
1. Demonstrated ability to manage a profit center with track record of driving profitable results.
2. Experience running operations/service delivery in a rapidly growing organization.
3. Demonstrated understanding of the customer facing process in detail; has held a client facing role.
4. Experienced in leading organizations past start up to scale quickly and effectively. (a plus)
5. Success in developing high performing teams with solid bench strength5 years management / supervisory experience.
6. Superior customer service experience and dealing with urgency of client needs.
7. Excellent organization and decision making skills.
8. Ability to analyze data at a very fine level of detail and offer solutions on a constant basis.
9. Direct staff in providing superior customer service to all clients.
10. Exceptional use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with clients and internal teams to anticipate project risks, resolve issues, consistently meet deadlines and achieve 100% client satisfaction.
2. Strong departmental budget management and financial controls, maintaining operational efficiency (third party vendor management?)
3. Leadership both internally and externally: positively represent and lead by example
4. Effective Human Resource management: attract/recruit, retain, develop and train high performance employees. Hire and build strong teams; cultivate and develop individuals at every level. Effective management of succession plans and talent development programs. Encourage team innovation and professional growth.
5. Focus on service, service quality/ consistency, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation. Create a documented Customer Satisfaction plan/process for each active Customer, detailing performance history, customer service record, customer satisfaction measurements, and open issues. Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals.
6. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
7. Collaborate very closely with the US Operations team in ensuring consistency across similar functions.
8. Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.
9. Coordinate and implement solutions from process analysis and general department projects.
10. Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.
11. Communicate with Supervisors, Managers, and Vice Presidents on Department operations.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
1. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Secondary language skills a bonus. Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.
2. Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology. Experience in supervising project and team activities.
3. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Salary is depending on experience: £30 – 50K.
This is a permanent, full-time position starting in London as soon as possible.
