Our client, a US owned multinational manufacturing organisation and global market leader in its field, is looking to expand it's Finance team based at the European headquarters on the outskirts of Glasgow. This is a superb opportunity to join a dynamic, acquisitive and thriving organisation which follows a strategy embracing innovation.

This is a newly created commercial role for an Analyst to focus on Revenue Recognition areas spanning Pan European territories, working within a highly energetic and strategic environment.

Candidates will be fluent in English as well as a 2nd European language - (Dutch, Flemish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or Finnish)

Reporting to an Accounting & Compliance Manager your remit will be highly varied and will span international locations..

Remit will include -
· Wide ranging analysis and reporting activities.
· Ensuring Revenue Recognition compliance across EMEA territories.
· Responsible for timely & accurate maintenance of the EMEA Revenue Cut-Off analysis and reporting
· Maintaining EMEA SOX assessments and ensuring local country compliance.
· Liaison with product management & sales on revenue recognition issues
· Responsible for maintaining the accurate and timely analysis and reporting of European Revenue Cut-off.
· Analysis of revenue risk.
· Preparing management summary and information on Reversed Revenue.
· Identify opportunities for revenue recognition process improvement & policy enhancements.
· Working as a liaison for the revenue recognition specialist the US.
· Responsible for maintaining the European SOX assessments and controlling of the country compliance with the SOX regulations.
· Working as a liaison for the Internal Control Team.
· Follow-up that audit comments related to SOX+C17 are implemented.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a similar environment and naturally be at ease working across international territories and disciplines. First class interpersonal, communication and analytical skills are essential together with strong IT skills.
