E3 Recruitment Management are working with a leading translation company established in 1987 who employ over 150 full-time staff at their offices in Cambridge, Barcelona, Montpellier, Munich, Bologna and Brno. Due to our continued success and growth the company now require a Spanish Translator to be based in Cambridge.
Job Description:
• Translating & editing marcom materials for a developer of video and audio software
• Assist translators with understanding concepts within the video, film, broadcasting and audio industries
• Create glossaries and style guide for large video/audio project.
• Generally support a technical translator team
• Liaise with team and externally with client contacts to establish good working relationship and ensure quality
• Liaise with project managers and with client contacts on linguistic aspects
Person Specification:
Essential:
• Degree in Translation, Journalism, or Multimedia
• Excellent language skills in Spanish (with English as source)
• Ability to translate, write and copy-edit marketing materials aimed at the video, audio and music production industry
• Experience with video production, sound studios, TV, film or music production (either hands-on, or perhaps writing for a magazine aimed at this industry)
• Hands-on experience with audio and or video equipment, non-linear editing
• Ability to work with a team
