Supply Chain Coordinator, Nordic (Europe)

Reporting to the Operations manager, this role is responsible for day-to-day supply of product from manufacture through to end Nordic customer delivery & return. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, master data maintenance and day-to-day vendor liaison. The role will contribute to improvements in the procurement and supply process and take responsibility for adding value to the supply chain workflow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Liaison with manufacturer to ensure optimum production runs and cost efficiencies.
• Managing exceptional production requests for campaigns, customers and promotions, escalating where necessary
• Identify potential pre-build volumes to optimize cost savings during non-peak replication months.
• Place & track Purchase orders for replenishment orders of catalogue & campaign product
• Set up and maintain Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) in all relevant systems, post NR window.
• Support local bundling activity and ensure all parties aware of timelines
• Marketing Servicing/Co-ordinate production of Point of Sale (POS) from a timeline management/trafficking perspective, as required
• Monitor inventory levels and tracking of stock movements
• Ensure appropriate levels of stock availability to meet order fulfilment needs
• Assess replenishment requirements via ABC stock profile analysis, Seek to level load factory for standard catalogue items
• Pro-actively raise concerns or initiatives around inventory control with the Operations manager
• Provide reports to Operations Manager/Commercial functions to identify excess stocks for potential sell-offs/promotional activity
• Co-ordination of Stock deletion programmes
• Manage warehouse inventory movements, validate in all systems
• Support future strategy / implementation of a Finish On Demand (FOD) or alternative supply chain models as required
• Support manager & Director in Customer direct relationship management. As necessary be first point of contact with designated customers on tactical (day-to-day) issues
• Track distribution/call off orders
• Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) & Scan Based Trading (SBT) supply channels (exception management)
• Work with Production coordinator/manager to Plan Direct to Retail (DTR) activity, liaising with manufacturing vendor to ensure correct process is implemented for new DTR customers
• Main interface between customer service and key replicator supplier where there are high volumes of returns leading to potential unworkable items
• Escalate serious returns issues to the Operations Manager for further investigation and where necessary communicate with GSQ to provide awareness of returns issues
• Demonstrate and promote SPHE values of Teamwork, Trust & Innovation.
• Maintenance and verification of master data into multiple systems
• Action approved SKU/data rationalization requests. Update systems to reflect SKU / BOM deletions/rationalization
• Ensure required Operations personnel are made aware of significant master data changes (where relevant)
• Customer service & Client services liaison (Day-2-day) Escalation to manager to ensure SPHE business requirements are met
• Supply of relevant master data/pricing data to DC Customer Service teams for NR/Campaign/catalogue activity
• Work with finance functions on weekly inventory reconciliation activity to ensure systems data & physical stock movements/numbers are aligned.
• Escalate any serious reconciliation concerns to the Operations Manager, including provision of details/analysis.
• On-going collection of data to provide management with reports to assist in planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, supply chain management, transportation and distribution, in line with continuous improvement programme and alignment of reporting on a global basis.
• Escalate concerns over costings to the Operations manager
• Work as part of a European team, sharing knowledge and best practice with other Supply Chain coordinators/managers and also advice from the European Supply Chain Manager
• Seek to support the Production coordinator/manager in their role and assist where necessary
CANDIDATE:
• Excellent business level in English
• Detailed understanding of Operations / Supply Chain processes – Essential
• Nordic Retail Market & Business Culture – Highly Desirable Nordic Languages (Swedish preferred) – Highly Desirable
• Demonstrated excellent analytical skills
