Our client, a language services provider is seeking an in-house Proof–reader with fluent Arabic or Persian to work in their South West London offices (moving to Buckinghamshire within a few months). Working as part of their production team within a small team you will be responsible for proofreading and correcting documents, with particular focus on DTP projects.
Using your Arabic or Persian language skills the role will involve editing, proof reading and quality checking of documents prior to its dispatch to the client. Additional tasks will include assisting with the maintenance of the CAT tools (Trados), updating translation memories and providing ad-hoc support to team members.
The successful candidate will be ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent career experience) and will speak native level Arabic or Persian, you will have an outstanding eye for detail, good powers of concentration and able to to use CAT tools (Trados).
