Multilingual Media Sales and Media Buyer

Our client a large international company is seeking to recruit a Multilingual Media Sales and Media Buyer for their offices located in Kent
Job Role
To manage existing clients across our clients wide range of media which represents about £1m in billing, and to also manage additional billings
Responsibilities
Sales via Phone e-mail and Face to Face. meeting with clients and agencies
To chase all leads sent by publishers.
Check share of market reports. ad programmes with competitive media
Check inbound magazines for leads and PR-
To work on existing accounts that are already clients, nurture and grow them to spend more money.
Co-ordinate mail shots using Act and mail king -so proactive sales
Check leads in sent/stored e-mail boxes.
Check old diaries for potential leads-
Check leads from trade, press and media week.
To find new Clients to grow the Business, via Sales leads, Trade Shows and to visit in the UK and overseas, competitive ad spend.
To constantly think outside this box, if a client is spending money, we have a way of helping them spend it.
To understand and learn all the media represent, and ensure when quoting or giving information it is concise and correct.
Keeping Publishers informed by call reports on leads supplied.
Negotiating with Publishers and clients
Following the full advertising process
Excellent time management skill
To provide a service above and beyond the normal ad selling.
Constantly thinking of ways of reaching the target you have been set.
Sign up for all E news letters to track spend
Visits/calls/shows/email done
Calendars/supplements/special events plan 3 months in advance
Work with the finance manager and admin support manager to manage these accounts
Take inbound briefs from other media agencies to then create a full media plan of recommended media to meet there brief and budget
To liaise with all ad agencies/publishers/clients and deal with all inbound enquiries
The Candidate
Must be fluent in German and the other languages we would consider include Russian, Arabic, mandarin Chinese. But German is essential for us so someone with at least 2-3 languages with English.
Preferably a degree candidate who has at least 5 years media experience in working for a publisher/media owner/or a media sale house.
They can also have been working for a advertising agency or media buying shop. Must understand the whole process of selling of media as well as the process of buying
Excellent Questioning technique required. As well as sale technique opening / probing / questioning / objection handling and closing the sale
Salary: £30-35k + Commission

Commission of £30-50k targeted-paid quarterly (in addition to basic OTE 60-85k)
