This is an opportunity to join a unique, expanding organisation based in Islington dealing with the collection of outstanding traffic penalties throughout Europe.
Reporting to the Communications Manager your main responsibility will be to process appeals from road traffic contraveners in Italian plus one (or more) other of the following languages; Finnish, Spanish, German, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish
The appeal processing operation consists of technical appeals that can be processed directly in-house and appeals that will need to be referred between the Client and the contravener and will require two-way translation; making linguistic skills paramount in this position.
Additional responsibilities may also include working with the Business & Legal Manager in developing the Legal/debt collection department.
The successful applicant will need to be fluent in English, Italian and one (or more) other of the following languages; Finnish, Spanish, German, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish. Knowledge of any other European language would be an advantage.
In addition the following experience and skills will need to be demonstrated:
- IT skills incl. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and organisational skills
