The Role
Bloomberg's Global Execution Business is expanding and we therefore have an exciting opportunity within the Execution Management System (EMS) Trade Desk team.
EMS Trade Desk is a dedicated support team covering issues regarding all aspects of Bloomberg's Execution Management System and associated products, involving equities, futures and options. Client interaction is made through live helpdesk chats, telephone calls and requests from other internal departments.
Bloomberg is looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role within the financial markets, or who want the potential to develop their career in Account Management and/or Sales. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their understanding of Trade Execution and pre and post-trade decision making tools.
Responsibilities:
Addressing client queries including but not withstanding:
- Electronic Trading - staging and routing
- FIX Integration with 3rd party OMS and client systems (STP & Workflow)
- Pre & Post Trade analytics, such as Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)
- Alternative trading venues and pools of liquidity (MTFs & Darkpools)
- Liaising internally with Programming, Sales, Business Development, Data and Technical Support
Qualifications:
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Financial Markets - equities, futures & options.
- Multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail with strong problem solving and customer service skills.
- Fluency of a second Language; Spanish or Italian speaker required.
- Knowledge of Electronic Trading Systems
