FULL TIME positions available, starting March or April 2010

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a worldwide market leader Hewlett - Packard (HP). You will be working in a team within a customer care centre environment, responsible for the resolution of incoming contacts from all GME brand customers and Retailers in line with key performance metrics.

You will be asked to continually promote the "care" attitude in delivery of customer care in line with the ECCC Statement of Direction.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

* Working in an inbound call centre supporting enquiries regarding well known brands
* Handling customer calls and correspondence in the form of letters, emails and faxes
* Problem-solving and reacting to customer situations in a professional, polite and clear manner
* Demonstrating a positive attitude, professionalism, initiative, and flexibility in performing daily job functions

Your profile:

Essential experience

* Candidates must have 12 months customer service experience.

Technical skills:

* Ability to operate a Desktop Computer System and possess a familiarity of MS Windows, MS Word Excel.
* Familiarity with navigating an internet/intranet using Internet Explorer
* Demonstrated ability in using Communication applications such as telephony equipment
* Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute

Soft skills:
* Customer service professionalism - enjoys direct contact with customers by telephone and has an understanding of customer needs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good local language skills, understanding trainings/meetings delivered in English and in German
* German must be your first and most fluent language.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and deal with a customer in demanding situations,
* Logical approach to problem resolution, escalates problem at the appropriate stage, ability to work on own initiative to follow up and resolve service requests raised by customers
* Team player - helping the team to achieve objectives, friendly and approachable even when busy, but firm where necessary
