Job Title: Head of Procurement - Poland
Salary: C£70,000 plus package
Job specification:
·Lead, manage and develop the supply base for external supply chain providing high quality and competitively priced goods and services
·Lead the Low Cost Sourcing activity for Eastern European and associated Region
·Develop supply strategies to provide assurance of supply, quality, regulatory, service, cost and inovation.
·Lead strategic relationships with critical suppliers providing secure and cost effective sources for relevant categories
·Implement initiatives and programs to improve quality of goods and services and reduce lead times.
·Develop operational excellence strategy for supply base employing lean and sigma approach
·Lead the transition to the new shared services model
·Achieve lowest sustainable cost on goods and services
·Provision of procurement support and expertise for New Product Supply
Necessary to build strategic alliances with key suppliers including regular business reviews with senior management to ensure company requirements are met
·Develop operational excellence strategy for supply base
Person Specification:
You will be a strong team player and motivator with experience of low cost sourcing and expertise in manufacturing processes.
You will have the ability to facilitate groups of individuals to work together on creating solutions and take the initiative to implement strong processes and procedures.
You will have experience of six and lean sigma and understand complex technical products
