As a specialist localisation company, our client translates and adapts software products and documentation for companies around the world. Their client list includes both established global players and smaller, newer companies on the brink of breaking into world markets. An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Translator / Localizer to join their team.
For this role our client is looking to recruit a qualified translator of any of the following: French, English, German, Czech or Slovak, with solid experience in the IT field (software localization, technical documentation, websites, collateral).
As a Technical Translator / Localizer you will join a professional team, and take responsibility for producing high-quality translations of software, online help systems, user documentation, and marketing materials.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- be a translator into French, German, English, Czech or Slovak
- have a degree (or equivalent) in Translation
- be an experienced translator with experience of translating in the IT or software industry
- have an excellent command of English
- have good knowledge of translation tools, such as SDLX, Trados or Idiom
This position can be based in any of the company’s offices: Cambridge (UK), Montpellier (France), Munich (Germany), or Brno (Czech Rep.).
