Customer Account Executive

Our client, a B2B fourth party logistics (4PL) supplier looking for a Customer Account Executive.
Purpose of role:
Provide a central support role for 1 specific customer account.
Co-ordinate product supply and maximising availability through timely and accurate inventory level forecasting.
Develop strong customer relationships ensuring a high level of efficiency and service.
Develop logistics solutions with the sales teams
Accountabilities:
Inventory Management & Supplier Partnership
· To order inventory of products against forecasted usage, having regard to menu cycles, minimum order quantities, lead time requirements, shelf life of products and company stock targets.
· Maintain stocks in appropriate warehouse to service all units as dictated by individual customers import restrictions and to maximise transport efficiencies.
· Optimise freight inwards costs and regularly review alternative haulier opportunities.
· To communicate daily with suppliers and third party warehouse to monitor and control product ordering, shipping/airfreight schedules, minimum quantities and delivery dates.
· To monitor daily outstanding purchase order reports to verify stock receipts and product arrival and ensure customer order completion.
· To facilitate warehouse procedures with regards to any product delivered outside agreed QC specification.
· To investigate reasons for and maintain detailed records of stock discrepancies and write-offs, including quality control issues.
· Manage direct deliveries from supplier to customer.
Forecasting and Sales Analysis
· To prepare rolling stock forecast
· Analyse product sales history against forecast using Inventory & Forecasting System
· Prepare sales analysis reports highlighting variance from forecast
· Provide data and recommendations concerning off-cycle or discontinued product utilisation.
Customer Services
· Provide central contact point for all suppliers
· Notification to caterers of all new menu pricing and order sheets.
· Review of all orders through web ordering
· Liaison with caterer to ensure timely ordering of nominated product in line
· Visit caterers as required, in liaison with Sales Directors, to resolve issues or build relationships
· Commercial approach to maximising sales opportunities and optimising distribution
Required Skills:
· Educated to a Degree level
· Strong IT skills (including Excel)
· Inventory management, logistics and customer service experience
· Strong communication skills
· Team player who must be able to work to deadlines in a high pressure environment
