The customer support department is responsible for the effective management of requests from across the EMA, covering markets and being the link between all departments. This role has a major place within the supply chain team and will closely link with sales & marketing, finance and customer services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:

1.Carry out Customer account changes in SAP
2.Customer account maintenance
3.Effectively communicate with internal customers in order to ensure service levels are maintained.
4.Escalates department related issues through line management in timely manner.
5.Support and assists in the introduction of new products and new plant & equipment projects.
6.Training of other members of the team in relation to customer account maintenance
7.New account set up
8.Data integrity
9.Testing in relation to customer account changes

Background information and operating environment of the job

•Responsible for maintenance of Customer Accounts across the EMA region. Establishing robust processes for account changes in order to improve accuracy and minimise complaints
•Document all processes relating to customer account changes including market requirements. Drive compliance across the region in order to minimise risk to the business
•Improve the relationship and knowledge of business processes between customer support and the the local marketing and sales departments
•Provide back up support for credits and debits towards the end of each month to ensure they are allocated to the customer’s account in time for the market invoicing cycle
•Support the tests plans required for customer account changes
•Drive process improvements for new accounts in order to ensure we maximise sales potential from the start
•To provide back up support for pricing changes and technical complaints

THE CANDIDATE:

1.Excellent oral & written communication skills in English
2.Experience of carrying out complex Master data changes in SAP
3.High level of computer literacy including advanced Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Office Visio skills
4.A proven track record of working in a Customer Service environment
5.Ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
6.Demonstrated positive, proactive attitude with the capability to manage multiple, co-incidental tasks in a deadline driven environment.
7.Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Strong ability to influence outcomes.
8.Demonstrated excellent time management & organizational skills.
