Language Connect is a young, fast-growing and innovative London-based translation services company providing multi-lingual solutions in all languages. We work with a variety of high-profile, prestigious clients in the public and private sector.
We are looking for:
• ambitious linguists with a keen eye for detail,
• enthusiasm for languages,
• strong communication skills,
• excellent organisational/multi-tasking abilities.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in the translation/localisation industry by acquiring or developing project management responsibilities. The successful candidate will become part of a client-facing team and, after a training period, will be responsible for a number of clients.
As a prerequisite, applicants will be English speakers with at least 2 years’ experience in translation from at least one foreign language (more than one additional language is beneficial). Recent graduates with Masters degrees in Translation-related studies will be considered. Specialist knowledge and experience in translating legal and financial documents will be considered advantageous.
The successful candidate will be confident using IT. High competence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) is essential. Touch-typing and experience using CAT tools is also desirable.
