The role:

The Delegate Sales Executive will be responsible for undertaking a successful telesales delivery process across all our Institutional Events Dept.

This will involve making telesales calls to potential delegates, as well as building a team of telesales personnel to service telesales requirements across all the Events Sectors.

Key Skills
Strong sales skills and experience, preferably in a professional B2B environment
Ability to sell and negotiate effectively to the client base
Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner
Excellent attention to detail in recording contact / address details and in all communications with Events Team
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn the Events processes quickly
Good working knowledge and proficiency in Excel and word essential
Ability to interact with senior business decision-makers
Self-motivated, driven to outperform by performance-related pay
Tenacious and persistent nature

Key Responsibilities
Telesales and direct selling to our delegate database and target audiences
Liasing with Marketing Manager on telesales data and linking telesales activity into an event marketing plan
Liasing with Marketing Managers within the company to gain a clear understanding of target audience, and unique sales points for each event
Managing time effectively to work on multiple events
Update and collect accurate address / contact details
Compile daily reports on number called and number of registered delegates
Keep detailed notes on reasons for non-registrations
Schedule call backs and act on them
Customer Relationship Management – to work closely with our Registration Desk to ensure delegates are formally registered
React quickly to clients requests and demands
Organise and follow through on incoming customer queries / registration

Desirable Skills
Knowledge of Financial Services
Fluent written and spoken Greek
