Job Overview:

Responsible for managing and developing a Market Development team in lead generation sales efforts and related activities. Reports to the Senior Manager, Market Development. Reporting to the role: Market Development Representatives, Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for delivering the regional marketing pipeline in order to meet corporate sales goals
- Work with the sales leadership to communicate company revenue goals, determine appropriate lead generation quotas, communicate expectations to staff, monitor and report on results to senior leadership
- Facilitate market segmentation and RSE/MDR allocations
- Manage and develop market development staff through proactive performance management and various development tools
- Work with Field Marketing to effectively support marketing campaigns
- Develop effective incentive programs to create a motivated and effective Market Development team
- Build effective cross-functional relationships to develop a sustainable long term strategy
- Ability to forecast accurately and set long and short term business plans
- Assess existing internal processes, compare them with the market benchmark and implement key improvement areas
- Participation in key marketing initiatives to set up a path for rapid company growth
- Partake in market development led projects and plan strategically to support corporate business goals
- Enable market development team to perform to the high standards through coaching, development, training and desirable employee satisfaction
- Operates under moderate supervision
- Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers
- Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

Requirements:
- BA degree in Business or Marketing required
- 3 - 6+ years experience in a sales position and/or marketing department
- Previous experience in cold calling
- 1+ years of experience in a lead or management role
- Previous experience in coaching
- Must be a highly-motivated “self-starter” with excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented to manage the day-to-day operations of lead generation, but must also possess the strategic business acumen required to participate in the design and development of new lead generation programs
- Fluent English, French or German and advantage
- Knowledge of UK SMB market an advantage
