Role Summary

As a key member of the sales team this is a revenue generating role. This will include promoting and selling our products and services to both existing and prospective clients.

Key tasks and activities

•Promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective clients.
•Work closely with other business consultants and account managers to generate leads and new business opportunities.
•Actively approach companies to find new business opportunities and generate new business sales.
•Host seminars and other marketing events to promote consultancy services and generate new sales leads.
•Create business cases and scope documents, including tenders, for new clients.
•Develop and maintain a marketing and sales plan for your allocated territories, as set out in your contact of employment.
•Negotiate sales through to close.
•Achieve set sales targets, reviewable on an annual basis.
•Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
•Responsible for your own administration, including appointment setting and maintaining the sales database.
•Take on role of product champion for specific products. Drive improvements for products developed through your industry knowledge and from client feedback. Responsibility for the internal promotion of new product developments.
•Follow up on web and marketing leads.
•Responsible for your own lead generation
•Attend industry events and tradeshows as required, to promote the business
•Sell the full range of products from within the company’s portfolio.
•Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the CEO or Technical Director.
