This role is responsible for developing targeted attraction strategies for recruitment campaigns across 5 European countries. The role will plan and execute recruitment campaign and attraction to ensure Telefonica O2 attracts in the right skill sets and talent into the Organisation to fulfil all recruitment requirements and builds talent pools for the future. Working closely with country Resourcing Consultants to gain relevant insight, this role will deploy the right interventions to ensure that Line Managers have choice in the selection of candidates for their roles. This role will also hold accountability to ensure that all campaigns are consistent with the brand and the customer social media strategy.
The Resourcing team is made up of three key areas:
- European Resourcing Operations: the 'in country' teams accountable for delivering a first class Resourcing service to their business areas
- European People Services Centre (ESPC) Resourcing Team: based in Dublin this team manage the 'telephone and desk based' support for 'volume hiring areas' i.e. retail stores and call centres.(for example; sourcing candidates, CV and telephone screening of candidates and scheduling of assessment centres. - European Resourcing Centre of Excellence (CoE): Develop and consistently drive the Resourcing strategy, operating model, tools, policies and processes.
The resourcing function as a whole provides critical support to our business by enabling a strong and competitive workforce for O2 and enabling a proactive, value add resourcing model that maximises its effectiveness while also being efficient.
Responsibilities
- Planning and developing the right interventions and attraction to secure the right candidates for our volume roles Working with country
- Resourcing Consultants to gain insight on the best means of attracting in the right level of candidates
- Progressing Telefonica O2's social media presence and ensuring we use it to our best advantage in attracting in candidates
- Collaborating with third party suppliers and country teams to ensure alignment of the strategy to execution
- Where we experience success in certain campaigns ensure learning's are captured and deployed effectively across different countries
- Monitor trends and analyse where we most effectively make an impact
- Ensure that Telefónica O2 have a consistent and impactful 'voice' on the marketplace, even outside of targeted campaigns to keep our profile high as an employer of choice
- Ensure that our brand in the marketplace as an employer of choice is relevant to a variety of profiles of candidates
- Work closely with Attraction team to ensure flawless execution of campaigns
- You will be reporting on job board trends and figures along with recruitment figures.
Person Specification
- Experience of developing and implementing recruitment attraction campaigns a distinct advantage ·
- Digital Advertising coupled with a background and/or understanding how to drive out strong messages/campaigns to varying audiences would be a benefit
- Local languages skills are a priority, first or second languages should include one of the following Czech, German, Slovak with English
- Strong understanding of how to use social media to drive the right candidate applications
- An understanding of the variety of channels used for recruitment strategies across Europe would be highly beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with short timeline cycles will be a priority
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage expectations will be essential
- Strong communication skills with a distinct Telefonica O2 'voice' will be a distinct advantage · Positive, enthusiastic mindset will be a must
- Ability to think creatively and generate solutions
