Translation/Localisation Project Manager - Japan

Over the last two years we have seen a dramatic increase in staff numbers and will be employing over 500 staff worldwide by the end of 2011.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our established team in Tokyo. We require an experienced industry professional to join an established projects team based in our Tokyo office. We are ideally looking for candidates with 1 - 2 years localization industry experience.
Responsibilities include:
• Management and co-ordination of translators, engineers and DTP specialists
• Planning, scheduling and monitoring the progress of multiple projects
• Effective communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Basic awareness of HTML/XML
Skills and experience required:
• Degree level education.(or equivalent work experience) - language degrees and MA qualifications welcomed, but not essential
• At least 1 -2 years industry experience
• Client facing experience
• Strong commercial awareness
• High level of IT literacy
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
