The role: Media Buying Solutions Sales Manager
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As part of the SEEMEA Media Buying Solutions Team, the Sales Manager is responsible for selling all Google Media Buying Solutions (DoubleClick suite and Google Analytics Premium) to major regionally-based digital media advertisers and agencies. The role is also responsible for managing local resellers.
This Sales Manger is responsible for developing a strategy to identify and approach specific verticals/segments as well as specific prospective clients, identifying new business opportunities, pursuing prospects by executing on a complex sales cycle with many cross-functional dependencies, negotiating and securing contract agreements for new customers, and helping ensure customers? complete adoption and satisfaction with DoubleClick Media Buying Solutions.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing customer relationships on an ongoing basis. This includes ensuring customers? overall satisfaction and managing day-to-day activities including coordinating the implementation process and training needs, setting up and managing the billing structure, providing or arranging new release education, enabling client participation in beta opportunities and soliciting feedback, and communicating all aspects of product feedback to the product management team and updating clients on progress.
The Sales Manager role is focused on consulting, solution selling and change management, interacting with clients at the c-level. The role requires constant cross-functional coordination with other Google teams, specifically local LCS Sales teams. The Sales Manager is responsible for steering the Technical Consultant and Support teams and also for partnering with the Marketing, Billings and Collections teams, all the while ensuring close coordination with the other regional MBS teams.






Responsibilities:

* Develop strong relationships at all levels of major agencies and advertisers, serving as a trusted consultant in order to solidify and grow those partnerships
* Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
* Simultaneously manage multiple complex opportunities and projects
* Coordinate internal resources across several functional areas to win deals and fulfill customer needs
* Understand and adapt to Google's ongoing product and technology developments





Minimum qualifications:

* BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
* Experience in technology or media / digital advertising sales, with a good understanding of display and search marketing.
* Speak and write English and Russian fluently and idiomatically





Preferred qualifications:

* Knowledge of digital ad platforms and established relationships within the digital advertising industry.
* Understanding of the ad technologies space and its key players.
* Understanding of the industry's issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
* Ability to work well in a large, fast-paced, complex, and perpetually evolving environment.
* Ability to develop and grow senior-level relationships with agency and advertiser customers.
* A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
