Mon - Fri, 09:00-17:00 (1 hour lunch)
An international food import/export company in Paris is looking for French speaking Operation Manager who can work independendly in their small office. Successful candidate should be reliable, responsible and has solid experience in import/ export admin back ground in France.
Trading (40%)
o Customer account management - liaising with customers and suppliers on a daily basis by telephone, email and customer/ supplier visits in case of urgency
o Negotiating contract terms - price, payment terms, lead-time and delivery dates, method of shipment
o Managing payments and trade finance
o Managing the documentation process - quotes, purchase orders, invoices and other ad hoc documents
o Filing all the trading documents
Accounting (20%)
Software - SAGE
Research (20%)
Research & report on new food & food ingredients on the marked
Send new product samples to HQ in Japan
Sales Promotion(10%)
Promote our products in France & other EU countires
Administration (10%)
Sending sample to Japan HQ
Experience
• Experience in food import/ export in France
• Knowledge of international trade/customs requirements
Key skills/attributes
• Excellent Communication and negotiation skills both French and Japanese
• Understanding of Japanese business culture
• Self-motivating and able to work independently
• Relationship building – internal, external, Head Office
