Primary Responsibility:
Internal Account Manager is responsible for calling on identified channel accounts, end users, or LCAs based on the assigned District/Region/Theatre. Also conducts next level lead follow-up to grow and qualify leads. Requires active collaboration with all aspects of the business (internal and external) to accomplish goals. Establishes and develops effective business relationships through the different selling phases while increasing revenue, and internal account management productivity.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes relationships with assigned end user or LCA accounts. Determines key needs and initiatives within the customer, and positions Panduit’s solutions to align with business issues or initiatives specific to the customer.
Directs business with channel accounts converting them from competitors and developing new business. Channel partners calling to contacts to provide support in specific needs or to identify potential opportunities.
Researches potential and current customers in advance of interaction. Determines opportunities and approaches based on research findings. Maps influencers in the account. Protects and retains current accounts as assigned. Maintains consistent communication. Coordinates and influences throughout the value chain.
Qualifies leads to determine potential. Turns qualified leads into business. Passes on qualified leads if it requires the attention of an external Account Manager. Disqualifies leads if it has no value to Panduit. Ensures that leads are being followed up in a timely manner. Manages leads to business activities, or passes qualified lead to Account Manager. Maintains leads in the funnel for continued development, and forwards qualified leads.
Updates data in the CRM tool effectively, accurately and in a timely manner. Effectively navigates the system. CRM content will include all leads, opportunities and customer interactions.
Interface and collaborate with marketing, focused on driving programs, collateral and lead follow up.
Communicates Panduit offerings including the benefits and features and has a strong understanding of competing products and how to position Panduit for success. Promotes global marketing programs and promotions to relevant target partners and customers.


SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
• Degree preferred
• Fluent German language
• Experience working with CRM systems
• B2B knowledge and proven business development
