The role: Head, SMB Service and Sales
With a rapidly growing array of service and sales teams, it's important to have a seasoned, charismatic leader who will guide our teams to success. As the Leader for both Service and Sales in one of the fastest growing markets, you will grow, drive and coach high-performing customer service and sales managers and their teams to earn the love of our customers and help them get the most out of the web. You will have to develop deep understanding of our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will work with the Service and Sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.
You will be expected to help your teams deliver on ambitious targets, and roll up your sleeves to partner directly with clients (where necessary) and partner teams within SMB that drive acquisitions to exceed revenue and advertiser growth targets. Fostering a culture of innovation and creativity is also a key expectation in this role. You will need to be an excellent communicator with a proven ability to motivate a large team and handle executive communication with ease. You must be able to work cross-functionally with other Sales leaders, Products and Engineering in Brazil, Americas and Google?s HQ in Mountain View. Finally, you will need to constantly build the SMB brand within Google and be the "face of Google" in the Brazilian SMB market.






Responsibilities:

* Take ownership for delivery of operational metrics including CSAT, SLAs and Service to Sales for the Brazil SMB Service team and devise strategies to meet quarterly targets.
* Act as key contributor and part of Google Brazil?s leadership team. Work with a global management team to deliver cohesive and coordinated customer engagement and market development strategies.
* Represent the SMB Sales Team in target setting for your region and market. Take ownership for delivery of revenue target for your market and sales program devising strategies to meet quarterly quotas.
* Develop and implement best practices for your sales and service programs. Ensure that your team is always up to date with the newest advertiser solutions.
* Manage and grow a team of team leads and managers, and service and sales representatives, working on the promotion and growth of Google?s Advertiser Service & Development programs. Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development.





Minimum qualifications:

* BA/ BS degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant experience.
* 8 years of relevant work experience in driving business, operations and strategy for large organizations. Services experience.
* Hands-on experience managing and building high-performing teams. Strong business sense with distinctive problem solving and analytical skills.
* Speak and write English and Portuguese fluently and idiomatically.





Preferred qualifications:

* 10 years relevant work experience in driving business, operations and strategy for large organizations.
* Experience interacting with senior-level executives.
* Deep understanding of Brazilian SMB market. Sales experience.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
* Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment and working to targets.
* Spanish language skills.
