I am currently recruiting a permanent position based within Cambridge for a Customer Service Advisor with German fluency. You will be working for a global leader within a very specific field where your skills will be enhanced and your career development encouraged.
The role is to act as the first point of contact for ecommerce merchants, providing telephony and email support on a wide range of products and services in a timely and professional manner.
Key Accountabilities:
* To continually look for ways of improving our customer's experience or efficiency of the operation
* To provide accurate advice, information and solutions to both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
* To meet and maintain a grade of service on handling inbound telephone calls and emails as agreed by management
* To log all complaints inline with the organisations complaints procedure and resolve the majority as the customers' first point of contact
* To identify additional products/services which will assist the customer with their needs and discuss any applicable charges
* To escalate potential risks and fraud as appropriate
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of working in a Customer Service role, either telephony or face-2-face
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Team player with experience of working towards targets/deadlines
* Good IT skills, able to use MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and Outlook) and Internet Explorer
* Ability to work under pressure
* Fluent in English and German is required for this particular vacancy - however, if you have good customer service skills, this is a particular skill that we are focusing on currently and would welcome your application to be able to assist you with other vacancies in the Cambridgeshire locations.
