The role: Head of Product Marketing, YouTube B2B
As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.
As the head of Product Marketing on the YouTube B2B Marketing team, you will be a critical leader of a team that is changing the way video content is distributed, consumed and financed. You will have the opportunity to build a powerhouse marketing team that changes the ecosystem of brand advertisers? favorite media: television. Your role will be to inform and up-level product features and formats into advertiser benefits that connect to powerful industry narratives. You will use innovative storytelling, research and distribution channels to show advertisers what is possible, and how to make the most of those possibilities. By developing new marketing programs and strategies, you will reach, influence and change behavior among key advertiser audiences. You will work closely with Product, Sales, and Research to help drive and commercialize YouTube innovation. Responsibilities:

* Communicate and influence YouTube?s ad innovation globally as the Marketing liason to Product.
* Develop and support a world class swat team that can add value across YouTube; manage allocation of resources and priorities.
* Position and communicate major product launches strategically and connection to core narratives for large and small advertisers.
* Work with the market insights team to develop groundbreaking research that proves the effectiveness of YouTube and supports core marketing narratives.
* Lead globalization of materials and strategy by working closely with top international markets. Develop and design YouTube?s advertiser-facing online presence.





Minimum qualifications:

* BS/BA degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience.
* 10 years of relevant experience, with progressively increasing responsibility.

* Proven ability to deliver outstanding and highly creative marketing achievements with limited budgets.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Illustrated track record in leading across complex cross-functional environments.
